This Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how fees, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, credits, refunds, and payment issues are handled.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any applicable service terms.

  1. Scope of Paid Services

Paid services may include, where offered:

  • premium listings;
  • featured placements;
  • homepage promotions;
  • boosts or spotlight products;
  • agency / multi-profile plans;
  • subscription plans;
  • advertising upgrades;
  • other digital promotional services.

Availability may change at any time.

  1. Pricing & Currency

Unless otherwise stated:

  • all prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD);
  • taxes may apply where required by law;
  • pricing may change at any time for future purchases or future billing periods;
  • obvious pricing errors may be corrected.

Publication of pricing does not guarantee ongoing availability.

  1. Payment Methods

We may accept payments through approved third-party payment processors.

You authorise us and/or our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for:

  • subscriptions;
  • renewals;
  • upgrades;
  • one-off purchases;
  • applicable fees or charges.

You must ensure payment details remain valid and current.

  1. Subscription Billing

  1. Cancellation of Subscriptions

  • cancelling does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not wish to continue.

  1. One-Off Promotional Purchases

Featured listings, boosts, spotlight placements, banners, priority visibility, and similar promotional products are generally time-sensitive advertising services.

Once activated, scheduled, published, or commenced:

  • they are generally non-cancellable;
  • they are generally non-refundable;
  • dates or placement may be adjusted where reasonably necessary.
  1. Refund Policy

Except where required by New Zealand law or expressly stated otherwise, fees paid are generally non-refundable once a paid service has commenced.

Refunds will usually not be provided for:

  • change of mind;
  • lack of enquiries, traffic, clicks, bookings, or revenue;
  • dissatisfaction with business results;
  • failure to use purchased time;
  • forgetting to cancel before renewal;
  • user breach of Terms;
  • suspension due to misconduct;
  • misunderstanding of product features clearly disclosed.
  1. Possible Refund or Credit Situations

We may, at our discretion, consider a refund, credit, replacement, or extension where:

  • duplicate payment occurred;
  • a material technical fault prevented delivery;
  • a billing error occurred;
  • paid features were unavailable for a substantial period due to our fault;
  • required by applicable law.

Any goodwill refund does not create a precedent or ongoing entitlement.

  1. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute:

  • we may suspend listings or account access while the matter is reviewed;
  • we may request supporting information;
  • fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent restrictions;
  • unpaid disputed balances may be recoverable where lawful.
  1. Failed or Overdue Payments

If a payment fails or becomes overdue, we may:

  • retry the payment;
  • suspend premium visibility;
  • downgrade the account;
  • pause services;
  • remove listings from premium placement;
  • restrict access until payment is resolved.
  1. Promotional Performance Disclaimer

Advertising outcomes vary.

We do not guarantee:

  • enquiries;
  • clicks;
  • favourites;
  • bookings;
  • revenue;
  • ranking position;
  • return on investment;
  • business growth.

Purchase decisions are made at your own commercial risk.

  1. Downgrades & Plan Changes

Where plan changes are permitted:

  • upgrades may take effect immediately or next cycle;
  • downgrades may take effect immediately or next cycle;
  • feature access may change accordingly;
  • unused portions are generally not refundable unless required by law.
  1. Free Trials / Introductory Offers

Where free trials or promotional pricing are offered:

  • separate offer terms may apply;
  • trials may convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled beforehand where disclosed;
  • abuse of free offers may result in refusal of service.
  1. Taxes & Business Responsibilities

Advertisers and agencies are responsible for their own:

  • GST obligations where applicable;
  • tax reporting;
  • accounting records;
  • business compliance obligations.
  1. Account Suspension & Refunds

Where an account is suspended, terminated, or restricted for breach of Terms, fraud, abuse, false information, unlawful conduct, or verification failure:

  • refunds are generally not payable;
  • prepaid benefits may be forfeited where lawful.
